13 Million Adults Over 50 Are Served By Food-Bank Network Feeding America
Of the 46.5 million people served by food-bank network Feeding America, 13 million are older adults over the age of 50. As many Boomers age into elderhood without a financial safety net, the organization anticipates that the number of elders requiring food banks or food stamps will increase dramatically.
