22% of 18- to 29-year-old smartphone users say that they check their phones every few minutes—nearly double the rate of 30- to 49-year-olds (12%) and triple the rate of 50- to 64-year-olds (6%). But across all age groups, the majority say that their smartphone addiction isn’t as bad as that of other people they know.
