A recent study finds that 88% of Americans ages 18 to 26 are at least “somewhat” optimistic about their own future (54% say they are “extremely” or “very” optimistic) while only 12% are pessimistic. Compared to bitter Boomers and perpetually jaded Xers, their attitude is refreshing—and absolutely crucial for the future.
