In a new report, the American Academy of Pediatrics stops short of recommending that tackling be removed from football, but recommends that young players only do it if proper technique is enforced. The AAP reasons that refusing to teach kids how to tackle will only cause more problems later in life if they’re unfamiliar with the appropriate method.
