Eyeo, owner of AdBlock Plus, is reaching out to publishers and advertisers to discuss finding an “acceptable” level and form of Internet advertising. The codename for the discussions, “Camp David” (a reference to a 1978 peace agreement between Egypt and Israel), underscores the difficulty of getting the two sides together.
