Alcohol-Related Deaths Rise Among Boomers in the U.K.
In the United Kingdom, the number of annual alcohol-related deaths among the 50+ has increased 45% since 2001. According to Dr. James Nicholls, “A heavier-drinking postwar generation is now reaching an age where accumulated alcohol harms start to have a real impact.”
