AMC Considers Allowing Texting in Movie Theaters

Amid slumping ticket sales, AMC is considering allowing audience members to text in theaters—a move the company hopes will bring Millennials back to the movies. AMC CEO Adam Aron admits that something has to give: “When you tell a 22-year-old to cut off the phone…they hear ‘please cut off your left arm above the elbow.’”
