America’s Structurally Deficient Bridges
According to the American Road & Transportation Builders Association, more than 61,000 American bridges are structurally deficient. Though this figure marks a slight improvement from last year, it nonetheless presents a dire picture of the nation’s infrastructure with federal highway and transit funding set to expire in two months.
