Anatomy of a Gig Worker

Compared to the overall U.S. workforce, the average gig worker is more likely to be male, Hispanic, under age 30, and making less than $50,000 a year. But he’s not all that invested in gig work’s famed flexibility: If given the chance, 49% of these workers would switch to a full-time position.
