Are Millennials Turning to the Internet as a Third “Parent”?
Historian Steven Mintz argues that some Millennials have a hard time adjusting to “adulting” and are turning to the Internet as a third parent, instead of reaching out to family. He’s right that young people do have the option of asking Google, but they are still closer to their actual parents than previous generations.
