Automakers Will Allow Owners To Rent Out Cars To Other Drivers
General Motors, BMW, and Ford will soon allow vehicle owners to rent out their cars to other drivers for a fee. The programs, which will first launch in select cities in Europe and the United States, are new terrain for carmakers as they throw their hats into the sharing economy.
