The average annual cost of homelessness among the 65+ in New York City is expected to triple by 2030, rising to $461 million. That’s according to a new report from the University of Pennsylvania, which (rightly) identifies homelessness among late-wave Boomers as a birth-cohort phenomenon and also predicts ballooning costs in Boston and Los Angeles.
