Boomers Aren’t Getting Tested for Hep C

Although Boomers are the generation with the highest hepatitis C infection rate, only 13% were tested in 2015—virtually unchanged from 12% in 2013. Traditionally, screening for hepatitis C was based on the prevalence of certain risk factors—but Boomers’ high infection rates mean that all should get tested.
