City-dweller Jonathan Margolis sold his Saab and discovered that he was no worse for it, thanks to ride-sharing and ride-hailing services. He (like many others) found that the daily cost of renting a Zipcar is nothing compared to the parking tickets, fuel demands, inspection fees, and maintenance responsibilities that come with owning a car.
