College Students Are Less Likely to Believe that Free Speech in America has been Deteriorating
A plurality of U.S. adults (40%) believe that free speech in America has deteriorated over the past 20 years, compared to just 22% of college students. While older Americans see today’s political correctness movement as an effort to censor others, Millennials view it positively as a way to protect feelings and be respectful.
