When asked what holds them back from discussing their personal finances, Millennials are most likely to say they don’t want to be seen as failures. Xers and Boomers, meanwhile, say it’s out of politeness—and Boomers are almost as likely to say it’s because they don’t want to seem like they’re bragging.
