E-Sports Bets to Quadruple in 2016
U.K.-based bookmaker William Hill has taken about $395,000 worth of e-sports bets this year—and expects that amount to quadruple in 2016. E-sports betting is not all good news for bookies, though: Its popularity has spawned a wave of underage gambling that site operators say has gotten out of control.
