After three decades, GE is axing formal annual reviews for its employees, citing Millennials as the reason for this change. The company is introducing an app that gives employees feedback on a regular basis—a far cry from the highly competitive “rank and yank” environment that kept Xer employees on their toes in the ‘80s.
