Fidelity gives 25- to 34-year-olds a retirement preparedness score of 70 (out of 150), the worst of any age group. However, it’s Generation X that should be most concerned: With far fewer years to prepare for retirement, 35- to 50-year-olds didn’t fare much better at 73.
