“Generation Firewall” Doesn’t Mind Censored Internet
In a recent experiment, only 55% of Chinese university students used uncensored Internet after being given access by researchers. For many risk-averse Chinese Millennials, life behind the country’s Great Firewall is not oppressive, but rather is safe: “As the younger generation, we don’t know how to filter that incorrect information by ourselves.”
