Google’s self-driving cars have run into an unusual problem: humans. Since the Google cars follow the law exactly, they’re unprepared for drivers (often) making the wrong moves—but this isn’t putting off proponents who swear a human-machine mix will still be exponentially safer than what’s currently on the road.
