Governors’ Approval Ratings Surge in Response to COVID-19
According to recent polls, Americans are much more likely to approve of their governors’ response to the COVID-19 outbreak so far than the federal government’s. Several governors have seen their approval ratings soar 30 percentage points or more, including New York’s Andrew Cuomo, California’s Gavin Newsom, and Ohio’s Mike DeWine.
