Harvard No Longer has “House Masters,” but “Faculty Deans”

On Wednesday, Harvard University announced that residential administrators would no longer be referred to as “house masters,” but rather “faculty deans.” While older generations of alumni might see no issue with the old term, Millennials don’t want titles tinged with racism to overshadow their quest for “an inclusive community.”
