According to new Census Bureau data, the homeownership rate for 18- to 35-year-olds slipped to 34.1%—the lowest level in records dating back to 1994. Although Millennials aren’t buying homes, there was an uptick in renter-occupied housing, which suggests that many are choosing to rent instead.
