Is This the End of the America’s Recent Booming Fertility Rates?
Birth forecasters at Demographic Intelligence recently called an end to a quarter-century of booming national fertility rates. Births haven’t rebounded as expected since the end of the Great Recession, which means that early-wave Millennials, now in their prime childbearing years, may never become parents at the rate that they might have otherwise.
