Los Angeles Plans to Raise City’s Minimum Wage
The Los Angeles City Council has approved a plan to raise the city’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2020. With the mayor already promising to sign it into law next month, Los Angeles is slated to become the largest U.S. city to adopt a major minimum-wage hike.
