Many Renters Don’t Plan to Purchase a Home

41% of non-homeowners (renters) do not plan to purchase a home in the foreseeable future, compared to 31% two years ago. This is a problem, since the current rate of homeownership is 61%, the lowest rate recorded in almost 15 years, and it seems unlikely to increase in the short term.
