Marketers are spending 500% more to reach 18- to 35-year-olds than all other age groups combined. The study’s authors say that marketers could spend those dollars more wisely if they further segmented Millennials into four groups—but the bigger takeaway should be that they’re missing out on the generations with much more wealth.
