Millennial Women Are Fueling the LFP Recovery

A new analysis of BLS data finds that 25- to 34-year-old women are responsible for 46% of the growth in total prime-age labor force participation since December 2015. This demographic’s recent surge into the labor force could be explained by factors such as stronger wage growth or more accommodative PTO policies.
