In order to achieve better work-life balance, Millennials on average are willing to take a $7,600 pay cut, compared to Xers who are willing to accept a $5,600 cut. While both of these generations value their personal time with family and friends, most Xers have homes and children, and view balance as a luxury they don’t have the freedom to “pay” for.
