Millennials Drive the Secular Decline in Crime Rates

A new study tracking U.S. crime since 1980 confirms that Millennials have committed far less crime than Gen Xers or Boomers did as teens and young adults. The author argues that recent declines in crime have been mostly due not to crime reduction efforts, but to age and cohort effects.
