Millennials Practice Parenthood with Pets
Fully 44% of Millennial pet owners say they brought pets into their home at least partly as “practice” for parenthood. For a generation that is hugely delaying family formation, pets and other living creatures (like houseplants) allow them to practice caring for something outside of themselves.
