Fully 68% of 18- to 29-year-olds agree that it’s harder today than it was for earlier generations “to get started in life.” At the same time, 50% of this group also think they have “more opportunity to get ahead” than their parents did at the same age—another illustration of Millennials’ trademark optimism.
