Millennials Think Local Volunteering is a More Worthwhile Civic Activity than Voting
Two-thirds of Millennials believe that voting is a responsibility, but only half believe that their individual vote is of any consequence. Given how young Americans view today’s bitterly polarized government, it’s no surprise that they find volunteering locally to be a much more meaningful civic activity.
