More Boomers Are Turning to Online Dating

The share of 55- to 64-year olds who report having used online dating has doubled from 6% to 12% in the past two years. For Boomers, many of whom are divorced, online dating consists mostly of dating websites, not mobile apps—meaning that Millennials aren’t likely to bump into their parents or grandparents on Tinder.
