Nearly Half of American Seniors Miscalculate their Life Expectancy

A new study from the University of California, San Francisco finds that nearly 50% of Americans over 64 miscalculate their life expectancy—33% underestimate, and 12% overestimate, their longevity. The large number of underestimators could find themselves in trouble when they outlive their savings.
