NFL Uses Big Data To Test And Rank Players’ Helmets
The NFL recently used Big Data analysis to test and rank each of the 17 helmets used by players. Though the NFL plans to widely publicize the list, it will not force teams to use the best-performing models, giving fodder to critics of the league’s lax handling of player safety issues.
