According to an annual survey, just 24% of 53- to 69-year-olds say they’re confident that they have enough money to last a lifetime, the lowest share since the survey’s inception. These grim numbers are fueled by the dramatic divide between high-SES and low-SES Boomers: Nearly half (43%) of respondents don’t have any retirement savings at all.
