Record Share of Kids Feel Unsafe at School
A near-record share (20%) of kids have expressed concern to their parents about feeling unsafe at school. It’s unclear whether this is due to the “Parkland effect” or increased safety measures like active shooter drills, but despite the perceptions of danger, schools are safer than ever.
