The food service sector is experiencing a jobs boom: Restaurants and bars account for nearly 14% of the new jobs created since February 2010. The fastest growth has been in places serving snacks and nonalcoholic beverages, such as coffee shops and juice bars, where employment numbers have surged 70%.
