Analytics firm APT estimates that the typical apparel retailer maintains roughly 4 terabytes of data today (enough to fill nearly a million books), up from 180 gigabytes in 2008 (about 50,000 books).That’s a lot of behavioral information to help stores figure out exactly how to convince shoppers to fill up their carts.
