Retailers spent $6.65 billion on mobile ads in 2015, accounting for 23% of the sector’s ad dollars—nearly double the amount (and share) spent on mobile by any other industry. Retailers know that today more than ever, shoppers are using their phones (in-store and out) to seek deals, compare prices, and use loyalty apps.
