Retired Boomers Become “Docents Gone Wild”

The number of volunteer tour guides age 65+ is projected to rise by 23% by 2020, as more retired Boomers donate their time to museums. Unfortunately, these “docents gone wild” are gaining a reputation for being unprofessional, presumptuous, and downright rude—one of the pitfalls of managing a notoriously rebellious generation.
