Rural and Small Towns Thriving
Rural and small towns have seen more growth in the West than in any other region of the U.S. since 2010. Western states have weathered the urbanization of the nation far better than those in the East, in large part because they were less dependent on manufacturing and have also been able to lure new residents with the great outdoors.
