Screen Time Use in Kids Linked to Lower Brain Development

A new study is the first to show a link between higher screen time and diminished brain development in preschool children. MRI scans revealed that kids who are in front of screens more have less “white matter integrity,” particularly in areas related to language skills and literacy.
