Total pregnancy rates fell steadily from 1990 (115.8 pregnancies per 1,000 women) to 2010 (98.7 pregnancies). Millennials’ low teen pregnancy rates fueled the overall decline: The under-15 rate fell 68% from 1990 to 2010, and the 15-to-19 rate fell 50%.
