U.S. Birthrate Drops 4th Year in a Row
In 2018, the fertility rate in the U.S. fell for the fourth straight year, hitting a new low of 59.1 births per 1,000 women. The birthrates among women under 35 just keep falling, with the steepest declines last year seen among teenagers.
