U.S. Child Mortality Rate Drops
According to a recent analysis of CDC data, the overall child mortality rate in the United States has never been lower. Today, there are fewer than 30 deaths for every 100,000 kids aged 1 to 4, compared to 450 deaths for every child in that age group in 1935.
