The formerly tiny town of Bentonville, Arkansas is urbanizing its city center, and most of the planning and financial support is coming from Walmart. The renovations intend to attract ambitious Millennial talent to the company’s hometown, seeing as most of their applicants live on the coasts and are accustomed to life “downtown.”
