Labor force participation for 25- to 34-year-old men is still 3 percentage points lower than it was in 2007, the largest shortfall of any adult age-and-sex bracket. Lingering amid the backdrop of a strengthening economy as measured by job creation and employment, this persistent shortfall could have the effect of creating a “lost generation” of workers.
